Gabriel Laborde Torres
Gabriel Laborde Torres joined Goldstein & Associates in August of 2017. He currently represents individuals facing deportation proceedings before Immigration Court and people seeking asylum in the United States. He has also been successful in helping individuals who have been detained by ICE. Gabriel is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he was part of the Immigration Law Clinic, which provided probono representation to low income immigrants in Puerto Rico. During law school he was also an active member of the Sexual Rights Probono. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, where he was active in student government and presided over the student body as a sernior. Gabriel has been involved in Pittsburgh with the immigrant community through Casa San Jose and the Latino Family Center and has been a volunteer for the Name Change Project. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association where he participates in the Immigration Attorney Committee, Hispanic Attorney Committee, LGBT Rights Committee, and Young Lawyers Division.
