Kayla Goldstein
Kayla is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but recently moved to Philadelphia from Moscow, Russia. She was first exposed to Immigration law through her father’s business, Mark Goldstein – Goldstein & Associates, LLC, as a young girl. While studying at Syracuse University, Kayla had the opportunity to work with international students through an English as a Second Language Program, where she tutored undergraduate and graduate students in American culture and the English language. She was also able to work with immigrants and refugees through the center located in downtown Syracuse, NY. At university, Kayla studied international relations, political science, and Russian studies, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2018 with honors. She is working at Goldstein & Associates to gain valuable work experience in the field until she is ready to pursue law school on the East Coast.
While living abroad in Russia for several years, Kayla understood the value of immigration policy and knowledge as she navigated migration in a foreign country, applying for countless work visas and residential status. She understands, first hand, the difficulties that lie ahead for those seeking lawful status, work permits, tourist visas, and more. Kayla brings her passion, high level work ethic, and intimate knowledge of immigration processes to her work as a paralegal at Goldstein & Associates. While working with our in-house attorneys, Kayla focuses mainly on Employment and Business based visa petitions, VAWA cases, AEAs, and NIWs. Based in our Philadelphia office, Kayla enjoys walking along the Schuylkill waterfront, weekday farmers markets, and watching dogs play in parks.
